Claudia Pastomás has a degree in Fine Arts and has recently graduated with a Masters in Artistic Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

Her artistic production is based on the pictorial and the installation. In his work he shows the processes of a medium that has been relegated, working with waste, limits and matter itself to explore how the paradigm has changed in relation to commercial production, reconstructing links between forms, materials and the obsolete to think about how they are activated in the present. A line of research and artistic production motivated by the search for new perceptions that revise traditional carpentry production.

The artist has been awarded the Best Emerging Artist prize by Mango and the Piramidón Residency prize at the Swab Barcelona Fair, presented by Vangar. She has also been awarded the scholarship of the 2nd Call of the Bodegas Faustino & Willy Ramos Chair in Paris, the first prize of the International Art Competition of the Salvador Victoria Foundation and a scholarship of the Antoni Miró Chair of Contemporary Art.

She has participated in solo exhibitions such as Coraza y Ornamento at the Saceca space in Sagunto; Atractores extraños, as part of the Contemporary Art Creation Prize at the Quart de Poblet creation space, and Contra-Desborde at the Algo Algo space in Valencia, as well as collective exhibitions such as Apenas Gestos at the Art Nueve gallery in Murcia. This year she took part in the institutional exhibitions Miradas Abiertas at the Centro del Carmen, Valencia, as part of Abierto Valencia 2024, and the solo exhibition Repols at the Chirivella Soriano Foundation, on the occasion of winning the first prize in the Sala d’arcs competition.
