Amalio Vanaclocha started his gallery project in Valencia with the aim of creating a space for the diffusion and support of emerging artists. In 2023 the project took another step towards a new stage with the incorporation of Elisa Montesinos as co-director. In the same year, Vangar opened its doors in a new space that has become a reflection of Elisa and Amalio's vision and collaborative spirit. Through projects that go beyond the exhibition space, Vangar seeks to connect with diverse audiences, collaborate with cultural institutions and initiatives, and participate in national and international art fairs, encouraging experimentation and dialogue in contemporary art.

Vangar is a member of the Valencian Association of Contemporary Art Galleries (LAVAC) and the National Consortium of Contemporary Art Galleries of Spain.
