Vangar participates in ARCO Lisboa within the Opening section, curated by Sofía Lanusse and Diogo Pinto, with the curatorial assistance of Sofia Montanha. On this occasion, Vangar presents the work of Sarah Viguer Cebriá (Paris, 1986) and Elena Núñez Mallén (Seville, 1998). The project proposes a dialogue in which both artists explore, through media such as painting, textiles, and ceramics, ways of visualizing the invisible: fear, energy, instinct, or the body’s internal flows. Their work evokes a sense of unease and instability, with latent tensions, mutations and constant shifts permeating the image and matter.

In this edition, Elena Núñez Mallén has been awarded with the I Kells Collection Acquisition Prize for her work Nuevas rutinas psicológicas.
