Pol Pintó studied art and design at EINA University Centre and participated in TSS (London) in 2019, he is currently in residence at Piramidón Contemporary Art Centre.

Pol Pintó explores the infinite possibilities of action and how it leaves its mark on the world. His work is born from the legacy of a movement characterised by abstraction, minimalism and rigour. An extension of his interest in questions related to tension, space and, above all, the search for the primary. He always uses unconventional and often seemingly mundane objects as tools.

The contact or friction between them is the source of the expressive strokes that dominate his paintings, leaving little room for human intervention and embracing the randomness that any kind of movement entails.

His work has been recognised by the Laus Awards, the School of Design of Catalonia and Arts-FAD, and is included in collections such as the Carmen & Lluís Bassat Foundation, among others.
